Call for Papers
The Committee invites you to submit abstracts for consideration for inclusion in the Congress Program. All abstracts will be rigorously reviewed by an international panel of expert referees who will assess them for inclusion into the Congress program.
The deadline for abstract submission is 29 March 2009.

Instructions for Authors
Abstracts must be submitted in English with a maximum word count of 350. Photographs and pictures cannot be included nor can scientific symbols other than those available in Microsoft Word. Authors will be notified about the outcome of the review process by 18 May 2009. All presenters of accepted abstracts are expected to attend the Congress and pay the registration fee. Authors may submit multiple abstracts for consideration.
All Authors must agree to the following conditions via the online form:
- I confirm that each author / presenter listed agree with the content of this abstract and has given permission to be listed as an author / presenter
- I have checked the accuracy of the information and referencing within this abstract
- I understand that should my abstract be accepted for presentation, I am required to complete a Congress registration. I understand that my abstract will not be published until my registration and full payment has been received.
- I hereby provide permission for the Organisers and Committee of the Congress to publish my abstract in the Congress Proceedings, Abstract Book and Congress website.
- I understand that my abstract may be published in the Congress Abstract Book and on the website, if accepted, as submitted and that no editing to grammar or spelling will be undertaken by the Organising Committee.
Submission Guidelines
To ensure consistency in formatting, all abstracts are to be submitted in Microsoft Word format using the abstract template which is available for download to your computer below - only abstracts submitted on the template will be reviewed. Maximum length for abstracts is 350 words.
All abstracts must be submitted online via the Abstract Submission Form. Should you have any difficulties with this form please contact the Secretariat on program@isfsydney2009.com

Submission Procedure
After completing the demographic and abstract detail sections on the Abstract Submission Form you will be required to upload your abstract. A confirmation email indicating a successful upload will be instantly sent to the Submitting Author's email address.
As part of the upload procedure your abstract will be converted to an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. By using your personal Access Key, which will be issued to you during the submission process, you will be able to access the "Speaker Zone" via the link below.
In the Speaker Zone, you will be able to:
- View the PDF version of your abstract to ensure the abstract has been received correctly
- Upload a replacement abstract, if required
- Add additional abstracts, if required
- Upload your final paper, if required
- Check the status of your abstract
- Check which session your abstract has been allocated to, if available
- Register for the Congress

Confirmation of Receipt of Abstracts
You will be sent an acknowledgement via e-mail to confirm that your abstract has been received. If you do not receive the acknowledgement within three days of your submission, please contact the Congress Secretariat on program@isfsydney2009.com

Audio Visual
PowerPoint data projection with single screens will be available in all session rooms. Further information about audio visual equipment will be provided to speakers at a later stage.
