Social Program
The Congress social program will start with the Welcome Reception on Sunday 27th September, giving delegates a chance to meet before formal sessions commence. Delegates will then have the opportunity to attend Poster Viewing drinks, the ideal time for them to discuss the sessions of the day and preview cutting edge research. The highlight of
the Social Program will be the Congress Dinner on Tuesday 29th September which promises to be a unique event showcasing Australia’s culture and landscape at the iconic Sydney Luna Park. Delegates will be treated to a ferry ride across the Harbour from the Convention Centre to the Luna Park wharf where they will be greeted by the Park’s famous smile, a must attend for all delegates.
The Social Program will offer delegates and their accompanying persons the chance to experience fine Australian cuisine and wine whilst enjoying the beauty of Sydney’s Harbour. Each social event will be a relaxed and informal environment to allow for networking away from the formality of sessions.
Further details on the Social Program will be available on this page at a later date.
Accompanying Persons Program
The Congress is keen to welcome accompanying guests of delegates to Sydney. An exciting program has been put together that combines attendance at the Welcome Reception and a special accompanying person’s tour.
Some of the optional tours that will be available include the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, visit to Taronga Zoo and of course, a tour of Sydney Opera House. In addition, there are a wide range of free activities available around Sydney city. Information on the full tour program will be available in late 2008.
